The Vora cave is located along the Adriatic coast, between Santa Maria di Leuca and Ciolo. It is part of the Costa Otranto – Santa Maria di Leuca – Bosco Tricase Regional Natural Park.
Cave of the Vora is a long and deep cavity that extends for over 60 meters. The name is given by a hole (vora, in fact).
The hole is located at the top of the vault of the cave, at certain times, to spectacular plays of light that change with the inclination of the sun’s rays.
